Padmashri
Bharat Bhushanji has expounded
the great Indian science of yoga
internationally since 1973
through his Mokshayatan
International Yogashram, located
at the foot of the Himalayas in
Saharanpur city as well as many
branches throughout the world.
Since 1978, Bhushanji has shared
the knowledge of yoga on
television, to which he
broadcasts to millions of people
each day. Bhushanji helped
initiate and conduct the first
ever International Yoga
Festivals, and has won numerous
awards including being given the
first Padmashri Award (one of
the highest four civil awards
from the Indian government) for
his contribution to yogic
science. Today Bhushanji serves
numerous universities,
government ministries,
politicians and national and
international celebrities as a
leading authority on yoga, yet
serves all in spreading this
vast science of self. |
