Dr.
Avinash Lele was born into a
family of Ayurvedic physicians,
and completed post-graduate
studies in Ayurved where he
specialized in Ayurvedic
surgery, Panchakarma, Rasayan,
and Kshara sutra (medicated
thread) therapy. Dr. Lele has
served as director, principal,
vice president and professor at
many different Ayurvedic
institutions and colleges, and
currently serves as the Vice
Chairman of the International
Academy of Ayurved, medical
director of several Ayurvedic
clinics, Chief Medical
Consultant at Atreya Rugnalaya
and Research Centre and director
of Amrut Aushadhi Pvt Ltd., a
company manufacturing ethical
Ayurvedic products. Dr. Lele
also continues to travel around
the world today to serve as a
professor, consultant and
speaker on numerous Ayurvedic
subjects such as Panchakarma,
body-and-mind relations,
Ayurvedic surgery, Marma
Therapy, Ayurvedic massage,
herbology and more. He has
written many scientific articles
on various Ayurvedic subjects
for journals published in India,
as well as authored several
books.
Dr. Bharati Lele was also born
into a family of Ayurvedic
teachers and physicans, and
holds an “Ayurved Vachaspati”
M.D. in Ayurvedic Gynecology and
Obstetrics. She is currently the
director of the International
Academy of Ayurved and the Chief
Ayurved Consultant at several
Ayurvedic centers and hospitals,
as well as a professor at
several universities both in
India, USA and Italy. Dr. Lele
conducts workshops and seminars
throughout the world on
different Ayurvedic subjects,
including Marma Therapy, Women
and Ayurved, Healthy Ayurvedic
Cooking, and Panchakarma Therapy
among others, and she has
written many articles on Ayurved
that have been published in
journals in India. |
